Looking for a way to get your hair wavy in a natural way but don’t have the money or time to go to the beach?
This post will demonstrate how to get beach waves in a couple of simple steps!
There are various different methods out there to help you achieve this look, but I am going to tell you the top three methods commonly used among women of all ages.
First, doing a hair bun.
Separate your hair into different sections and wrap your hair into multiple hair buns and leave them up for a couple of minutes and then unwrap your hair from the bun form.
Keep in mind that the longer you keep your hair in a bun form, the longer the waves will stay in your hair and the tighter the waves will form.
Also, it is up to you if you decide to use a straightener or not to shape beach waves in your hair.
Second, use some form of heat.
Whether you’re using a curling iron or a flat iron, always make sure to keep in mind the size of waves you’re trying to get. If you’re trying to get loose waves, you might want to use a waver with large barrels.
The smaller the barrel, the smaller the waves in your hair.
Third, use sprays.
You don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on sprays. You can choose from a variety of different brands or you can purchase or make your own salt spray.
If you don’t want to purchase salt spray, you can make your own by mixing a few tablespoons of sea salt into 8 ounces of water and adding one or two drops of moisturizer (can be conditioner or Moroccan oil) and then shaking all of these products together in a small container or water bottle.
You can also buy got2B Beach Trippin’ Salt-Infusion Waving Spray to get the same beach effect.
Personally, I prefer to use the mousse method because it’s easier and it creates a more natural look when it comes to beach waves. As soon as I get out of the shower I apply house to my hair and then re-apply some more mousse when my hair drys and voila! Below are different days in which I styled my hair to have natural beach waves.
